French Chairs

This lovely chair sold by T.C. Donobedian’s Paris Flea features carved wood, and supple velvet fabric.  As you can see the frame of the chair was painted to reflect the fabrics colors.  The beauty of french chairs are the details in the frame compared to plain contemporary chairs with no detail.  French Chairs gives you the freedom to add to overall look by painting the frame a complementary color, or something quite opposite.  With this chair, the frame was painted in coral to match the fabric, and going with a green finishing touches gives this chair classic french looks than gold detailing that would be typically chosen.

I alway prefer to use hardwood dining chairs because they look great and they have that classic look. Hardwood also lasts longer compared to softwood chairs.
